Volvo car in the 1940s. Volvo PV 444 was one of the most popular Volvo cars ever and was somewhat of a folkcar of the swedes. 196005 cars were manufactured and it featured spacious boot, good resistance to rust, the car interior being able to form into a bed and Volvo service. Before production a mockup car was made out of wood to show the cars interior and exterior in full size to be able to adjust it if neccesary. Wooden model cars were common in the car industry until 1985. Picture taken 1944.
