Members of the non-governmental organization and charity Oxfam lampoon the leaders of the G8 countries (L-R Vladimir Putin of Russia, Gerhard Schroeder of Germany, Tony Blair of Great Britain, George Bush of the US, Jacques Chirac of France and Junichiro Koizumi of Japan) by staging a food fight at a "breakfast" where they eat surplus agricultural produce on the sidelines of the World Trade Organization ministerial meeting in Cancun, September 12, 2003. The Oxfam event was designed to illustrate the G8 countries' subsidized agricultural sectors and dumping of their excess production.
