Sculpture on the face of the southern buttresses, so-called "Judensau" (anti-Semitic representation). On Wednesday (11.05.2005) the so-called "Judensau" made of stone hangs on a facade of the Regensburg Cathedral. The 14th-century "Judensau" shows a pig whose teats are suckling. Critics have attached a warning sign on Wednesday to the medieval nastiness on the church. The Munich action artists Wolfram Kastner and Günter Wangerin wanted to protest against a billboard that had been mounted by the authorities at the end of March. This board was "meaningless and ambiguous".
