An Indonesian woman from the isolated Inner Baduy tribe sits in front of her house in one of the tribe's three villages in Banten province on September 12, 2002. The Baduy tribe, which comprises of 900 people, lives in almost complete isolation from the modern world although their area is only 170 km (100 miles) southwest of the country's capital Jakarta. The people living in the inner part of the Baduy area reject all modern products including waterworks, electricity, engines and man-made toileteries and have managed to keep their ancient lifestyle from being eroded by contact with the outside world for ages.
