Fischerstechen. Das Fischerstechen, das heute nur noch vereinzelt vorkommt, war fruher ein regelmassig stattfindendes Fest, bei dem die Fischer, in Kahnen stehend, sich mit langen Stangen gegenseitig ins Wasser zu stossen suchten. Es ist eins der vielen alten Handwerker-Kampfspiele, die, in Nachahmung der ritterlichen Spiele, sich meist dem Charakter des betreffenden Gewerbes anpassten. Translation: Joust.
