Votaries of the Weed, No 37. The Knut, who was recently the Bounder-and aforetime Chappie, Masher, Fop, Dandy, Corinthian, and so backwards ad infinitum-is, like poverty, ever with us. He smokes because it is the fashion; just as he would rapturously eat tenpenny-nails, chew glass, or swallow lighted tow, if this same Fashion, with a capital F, demanded it.
