Quarantine inspector Craig Hall looks at the three parcels that arrived by post in Sydney September 20, 2002 that contained turf and soil from the Lord's cricket ground in England. The three packages, which also contained a certificates of authenticity, were detected by X-ray machines at Sydney's International Mail Centre. They were declared as 'sporting (cricket) goods' and were being shipped to cricket-lovers who had purchased the turf as a result of some of the historic Lord's oval being removed during recent maintaince work, and sold through their website for around twenty pounds (A$50).
