Inscribed at the bottom: JOHN HEWITT.DD. / SON OF M[.r] THOMAS HEWITT OF ECCLES IN LANCASHIRE. / HE MARRYED THE LADY MARY BERTIE DAUGHTER OF THE LOYAL AND VALIANT / ROBERT EARL OF LINDSEY WAS CHAPLAIN TO K[g] CHARLES THE I.
