Chinese police patrol June 4, 2002, in front of the Monument to the People's Heroes, which was the point of convergence when pro-demoncracy protesters occupied Beijing's Tiananmen Square 13-year ago. The anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre passed quietly on Tuesday morning with no hint of public protest in mainland China.
