Ten-year-old Whitney Ayres studies one of the exhibits September 20 at the newly dedicated Central High Museum and Visitors Center, which was once a gas station across the street from the high school where federal troops escorted nine black students into the school under order from President Esienhower in 1957. A week of activities to commemorate the 40th anniversary of integration in the Little Rock public school system is planned, with President Clinton delivering the keynote address of the main ceremony September 25.
