The large stone and wooden Tomb of Christ partially seen under the recently-renovated rotunda ceiling inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre which aloows daylight to enter one of the world's oldest churches. [Pope John Paul II] is due to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, will hold mass here, and will pray alone inside the tomb during his March 21-26 historic visit to the Holy Land, but much of what he sees on his tour of the holy sites will be shrines whose links to Jesus are a matter of tradition rather than physical evidence.
