A bronze dog head, part of a looted relic, is displayed in Hong Kong in this September 16, 2003 file photo. A Hong Kong auction house on September 17, 2003 cancelled the selling of the dog head for an auction scheduled for October 26. An auction in 2000 of some other items in the same looted series sparked a controversy as opponents called it insulting to have looted Chinese relics sold on Chinese soil. This dog head, about 17-inches tall, is one of a series of bronze sculptures featuring the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac that used to be in the Summer Palace in Beijing in the Qing Dynasty.
