Behind the scenes at the movie theatre. Cinema in the 1940s. The projector room at cinema Rigoletto in Stockholm. Two film projectors are used. Since feature films did not fit on one roll of film, it was important that the machinist be adept at switching to the next projector with the next roll when the time came. The cinema operator also manages the lighting in the cinema hall. A control panel on the right controls the light in the cinema hall, stage lights etc. and also the curtain. A magnoscope is also operated from here (to enlarge the image in spectacular sequences) 1947
