Swimwear, 1940s (b/w photo)

Swimwear in the past. A man sits in the driver's seat of a car and by the open car door stand two young women dressed in bathing suits. The woman on the left in a historical bathing suit from the turn of the century 1800-1900 while the seated woman wears a modern 40's bathing suit. The car door on the model has hinges at the rear edge and opens forwards. The phenomenon was called Suicide doors, girl prisoner doors or kidnapper doors. Dangerous type of door if it is opened while driving. Girl trap doors come from being able to open the door and drive past a girl, whereupon she ended up in the car. Sweden 1945
