The wall on the left is decorated with two big frescoes telling episodes of the life of Saint Peter; in the upper side is depicted the scene of the Tribute; in the inferior side can be seen the Resurrection of Teophilus's son and Saint Peter on his throne; on the left can be glimpsed two frescoes decorating the wall behind the altar: the Preaching of Saint Peter, on top, and Saint Peter Healing the Sick with His Shadow, down; on the left, on a pillar, are depicted the Fall of Adam and Eve, on top, and Saint Paul Visiting Saint Peter in Jail, down Masaccio, Masolino, Filippino Lippi Brancacci Chapel
