The picture portrays a group of people crowds around a naked boy, who kneels down upon his own shroud, upon bones and skulls; the young man, come back from the death, holds out his arms towards Saint Peter, recognizable for his beard and white, short hair; the Saint, who wears an orange mantle, is faced backwards, holding out his hand in order to invoke a blessing; next to him can be recognized Saint Paul, who prays kneeling down, his gaze towards the sky; among the onlookers there is a child with long blond hair who looks down; behind them, characters attend the scene - someone has open arms and open hands, astonished; someone with eyes wide open; on the background, a wall surmounted by three big vases; beyond which can be glimpsed trees' foliage Masaccio e Filippino Lippi Brancacci Chapel
