Christ is standing with his disciples, recounted in the New Testamant, Matthew 23:37. St Peter and another are seated apart in the centre and middle distance. On the left a hen with young is seen in the foreground and a walled medieval town with a hill in the middle of it and a castle on top, presumably representing Jerusalem, can be seen in the distance.
