ARGENTINE TOURISTS FRAMED BY A RAINBOW AT IGUAZU FALLS IN BRAZIL, 2001-08-01 (photo)

Argentine tourists gaze out at Iguazu Falls from a special platform, as a rainbow forms from the mist in the background, in Southern Brazil, August 1, 2001. An unseasonal winter heat wave pushed temperatures above 82 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius) for the second stright day and attracted huge crowds to the falls, which are located along the banks of the Parana river, at the border between Argentina and Brazil. Tourists were forced to wait until the late afternoon to visit, however, due to the visit to the park by British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Presidents Fernando De la Rua of Argentina and host Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
