Berlin, Berlin/City State, Germany Adolf Hitler with entourage, on his return in the morning hours of 9 Nov. 1939, from the commemoration of the 9th November 1923 in Munich, where he narrowly escaped the assassination attempt of Georg Elser in Buergerbraeukeller at the Anhalt station in Berlin, where he was welcomed by Field Marshal Hermann Goering. From right: Hermann Goering, Colonel Rudolf Schmundt, Hitler, Martin Bormann, Joseph Goebbels, Julius Schaub, and the Chief of the Reich Chancellery Minister Hans Heinrich Lammers on 9 November 1939.
