A Cuban reads a copy of the March 4 edition of the Daily Granma, which ran a story denouncing the island's best-known dissidents as U.S.-funded "traitors" in a furious rebuttal of criticism for trying the four activists whose case has focused foreign pressure on Fidel Castro's government. "Those who so repugnantly act in the service of the power which attacks our country are more than just violators of one or various articles of the penal code; they are real traitors to the nation," said an editorial that covered the first three pages of the Communist Party daily, Granma.
