Families from both sides of the divided island of Cyprus came together on Monday to mourn a 13-year-old boy whose battle with leukaemia united the tense island in a bone marrow search. Kemal Saracoglu, a Turkish Cypriot, died last week in a London hospital. A race to find suitable donors for Kemal and Greek Cypriot Andreas Vassiliou, who is six and also suffering from leukaemia, united Cypriots on both sides of the UN-patrolled "Green Line" dividing the Mediterrannean island.
