Video recording of the Essex Dances of the Seven Straw Braid. Seven Straw Braid, a ladies traditional dance group, broke up in 1999 after seventeen years. They were persuaded to get together one last time to record those of their dances with an Essex connection. They were filmed by etv hospital television at Shire Hall, Chelmsford. 7) Trip to Dunmow. The dancers are Joyce Hollowbread, Jill Palmer-Swift, Sue Giddings, Elizabeth Giddings, Carol Rudd, Victoria Rudd, Celia Reed, Glenys Watkins and Alison Baldwin. The musicians are Paul McCann (concertina) and John Hollowbread (tambourine).
