Jan. 01, 1955 - Rowland Emmett leaves for America, with his: Round The World Walking Stick”: Mr. Rowland Emmett, the well known artist and creator of the famous Emmett Railway which was a feature of the Festival Gardens, left London Airport this evening for America, with hi latest creation, which he calls his” round the world walking stick”, which included tap for ice water, beads for trading with Indians, a sunshade for Florida, an artist's paraphernalia, a combined ticker tape and radio for contact with the outside world.
