JEWISH SETTLERS UNDER PRAYER SHAWLS ARRIVE AT JERUSALEM COURT, 1998-06-17 (photo)

Jewish settlers hide under their prayer shawls and a towel as they arrive in a police van at court June 17, on suspicion of killing a Palestinian man yesterday in the West Bank city of Hebron. Police arrested three Jewish settlers, two of them minors, for the drive-by attack which left Abdel Abu Turki aged 46, dead. According to Mahmoud Abu Turki, a cousin of Abdel, the two men were working in a field when a car drove by and the settlers inside held out a stick which hit Abdel fatally wounding him.
