Berlin, Berlin/City State, Germany The German Zeppelin airship 'LZ 3' after landing on the firing range in Berlin-Tegel. In the foreground the Uhlan cavalryman of the imperial army with flagged lances. After the 'LZ 3' was partially destroyed on 14.12. 1907 at the downfall of the Reichsschwimmhalle, ran around 4400 km till its transfer to the Army. As a section was extended it was transferred to Metz as the military airship 'Z I' on 29.06. 1909 and stationed there.
