Swedish Amerika Linien's ship M/S Kungsholm. A picture from the launch on 17 March 1928 at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg. In the summers, M/S Kungsholm crossed the Atlantic about twice a month. Many famous Swedish personalities traveled with it. M/S Kungsholm was a sister ship to the shipping company's already launched M/S Gripsholm. They were the most modern ships on the Atlantic at the time. Both ships ended their days as scrap.
