Baron du Parc this morning presented letters written by children of Belgian Schools, to child representatives of 59 flood damaged schools on the East Coast, expressing sympathy at the flood damage and suffering. At the same time a handsome” Scrapbook of Belgium” -prepared by pupils of the Ecole Primaire, Lagere School, Belgium was presented to two representatives of the long Road School, Canvey Island-commanded to be the hardest hit school of the floods. They are: -Left to Right: -Christine Hills (12) of Gt. Yarmo; Susan Dennis (10) of Sheerness; Peter Murphy (14) also Sheerness; Lorna Giddings (11) and Bryan Witcombe (11) both of Convey Iceland-who received the scrapbook.
