Sretko Krajisnik, the father of the Bosnian Serb wartime figure Momcilo Krajisnik sits idle by the destroyed door of his house where Momcilo was arrested in Pale April 3. Krajisnik, who on Monday became the most powerful figure arrested on Bosnia war crimes charges to date, was the right-hand man of Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic and chief enforcer of policy. A Serb ultra-nationalist who earned the nickname "Mr No" for his uncompromising stance in peace negotiations, Krajisnik was snatched by NATO-led peacekeeping troops acting on a sealed, secret indictment by the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague. Karadzic himself, as well as Bosnian Serb military commander General Ratko Mladic, were publicly indicted for genocide and crimes against humanity near the end of the 1992-95 war but remain at large.
