A parishioner of Nuestra Senora de la Sagrada Familia church receives communion during a mass October 12 next to where their house of worship once stood before it was washed away by a massive mudslide after Hurricane Pauline's devastated Mexico's most famous tourist resort. The Red Cross is reporting 400 dead in the wake of Pauline's destruction, considered the most powerful hurricane to hit Mexico's Pacific coast, and many more have lost their homes as huge walls of mud and water washed them away.
