In a town like Washington, where high style is often treated with suspicion and where many women in power stick with a professionally dowdy look for decades, Mrs. Clinton's ever-changing hairdo has been a media staple. So when she showed up in the Senate with her bangs flat against her forehead, with her face, lips and fingernails apparently devoid of makeup, it was cause for comment. The Washington Times called it a "reverse Cinderella story," while the Washington Post characterized it "Dis-tress".
