He was the 1st Earl of Leicester (1754-1842) was the brother of Elizabeth, the wife of James Dutton, 1st Baron Sherborne (1744-1820), whose sister Jane (cf.No.32) he himself he married in 1775. A reduced copy of the portrait of 1807 in the Shire Hall of Norwich, showing this great agricultural reformer and Whig politician with his hand on a copy of the Magna Carta.
