The Montesi trial. The trial for the death of Wilma Montesi began at the Venice Palace of Justice, whose body was found on the beach of Tor Vajanica on April 11, 1953. Here are the main defendants, Giampiero Piccioni, accused of negligent homicide, former commissioner Saverio Polito and Ugo Montagna, accused of aiding for helping Piccioni evade investigations by the judicial authority.
