Political crime in Paris. Upon leaving the Colombes stadium (Paris), where, in the presence of more than 50,000 spectators, the Toulouse-Angers football match was held, an Algerian terrorist, Ben Sadok Mohamed, killed Emir Ali Cekkal, former vice-president of the Algiers Assembly and a staunch defender of Franco-Muslim friendship. The killer fired behind the victim who, surrounded by friends and policemen, was commenting on the results of the game. The terrorist was barely taken from the crowd that wanted to lynch him.
