detail-the candlestick is very well preserved. the medallion on the neck contains musicians a clown and a drinking scene. the top of the base has twelve roundels with the symbols of the zodiac and an outer band with animals. there are two bands on the body displaying musicians drinkers and dancersd separated by polylobed medallions with a hawk attacking a duck. the main band on the body has six larger polylobed medallions. two show horsemen and two show enthronement scenes with attendants and dancers. the inscription between the medallions contains good wishes but the base of the neck tells us that two craftsmen were involved-detail of a candlestick-beaten copper alloy with silver inlay-inv.n.15121-Ayyubid 13th century-IM-020
