The burning German military airship 'L 2' (LZ 18) on the airfield of Johannisthal. After the first flight on 09.09. 1913 the 'LZ 18 ' was put in service by the German navy as' L2' On 17.10. 1913 the marine airship crashed in Johannisthal from a height of about 200 meters. The entire crew of 28 people, including the Commander, Captain Gluud perished in the accident.
