New York Yankees gather on the mound as umpire Mike Reilly warns them after pitcher Hideki Irabu (R) hit Toronto Blue Jays batter Shannn Stewart with a pitch in the fifth inning September 11 at Yankee Stadium. Stewart charged the mound after he was hit and both benches emptied. In the fourth inning, Toronto pitcher Roger Clemens hit Yankees batter Scott Brosius after the Yankees scored three times on Clemens to tie the game. Toronto won the game 5-4.
