U.S. soldiers search Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) members for weapons and ammunition June 20 in Urosevac, southern Kosovo. During the search the U.S. soldiers found only ammunition. After a meeting between U.S. [President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin in Cologne the National Security Adviser Sandy Berger] said that a demilitarisation agreement had been reached for the KLA in Kosovo. The agreement provides for the KLA to maintain the ceasefire, to cease carrying weapons and to not engage in any military-related activities without the approval of the commander of KFOR.
