Trespass, the first monumental work by Havel Ruck Projects that is not short-lived and ephemeral, is constructed from the fragments of a 19th century wooden bungalow scavenged from a Houston building site. Comparable to the 1970s “anarchitecture” projects, the work forces the question of whether it is the scavenging artists or the developers transforming a neighbourhood who are trespassing.
