The plaque that marks the grave of James Hanratty, who was hanged in 1962 for the murder of Michael Gregsten, at the Carpenters Park Lawn Cemetery in Oxhey April 15, 2002. It is believed that the conviction of Hanratty, one of the last men to be hanged in Britain, was fatally flawed and the battle to clear his name is continuing at the Court of Appeal in London 40 years after his death.
