The set vertically main panels are composed of a central pear shaped motif against a deeply carved ground of kidney shaped patterns. The central motif extends vertically on both ends givimg the impression of an abstracted Tree of Life. These vertical panels alternate with horizontally placed ones that feature a simpler symmetrical arrangement of lozenges bound by kidney shaped patterns. At the top of each leaf is a horizontal panel containing two lines of an inscription carved in a variant of Kufic-turkish pinewood-inv.n.551-from the mosque of al-Azhar-Fatimid Egypt-1010-IMG_5324
