Zahnbrecher. Das Zahnziehen dunkt uns heute eine harmlose Kleinigkeit, verglichen mit der Prozedur vergangener Zeiten. Mit einem schlusselahnlichen Instrument wurde der Zahn aus dem Kiefer herausgedreht. Der Zahnbrecher war meist ein Quacksalber, der Kenntnisse vortauschte und den Arzten und Apothekern ins Handwerk pfuschte. Zahnpflege und Zahnersatz waren noch unbekannte Dinge.
