[Bound with the same author’s:] – De trinitate. [Basel]: Johann Amerbach, 1489. Two important works by Augustine of Hippo, both printed by Johann Amerbach in Basel, united in a contemporary binding. The woodcut on the verso of the title-page in De civitate Dei is the first known work attributable to the Master of Haintz-Narr. It depicts the saint writing at his desk and, below, the cities of Babylon and Sion.
