SOME OF MORE THAN 1500 NUDE VOLUNTEERS POSE FOR A PHOTO SHOOT OF SPENCER TUNICK AT THE ARTEPLAGE OF NEUCHATEL. Some of more than 1500 nude volunteers pose for a setting of New York photographer and performer Spencer Tunick's photo shoot at the arteplage of Neuchatel, Switzerland on July 20, 2002. Tunick creates massive landscape photographs of human bodies what he calls 'Nude Landscapes' with naked volunteer models in various settings. The arteplage of Neuchatel is part of the ongoing "Expo.02" Swiss national exposition, a linked web of open-air theme parks centred on four eye-catching arteplages, lakeshore platforms whose name comes from combining art and the French word for beach.
