Monash Gully, 1915. Lantern slide, World War One, Gallipoli (1915). Monash Gully was the name give to a section of valley that ran along the front line at Anzac Cove. It was one of the main routes to and from the front and regularly came under Turkish sniper fire. From a box of 67 lantern slides associated with the Turkish Army, 1914-1918.
