"I love the cover. No – that’s an understatement. I almost cried when I saw it for the first time. It is absolutely beautiful - and captures something intriguing about the novel itself…

I’m stunned - that my book sparked Aitch’s imagination to create this amazing artwork. By the meticulous care put in by the design team at HarperCollins. It’s incredibly moving.

Judging the Bridgeman Studio Award 2016 entries

The judging took place in London on 14 July with Rosie Garland (Author), Claire Ward (Creative Director Fiction and Non Fiction - HarperCollins), Susie Doore (Publishing Director – The Borough Press), Patrick Burgoyne (Editor – Creative Review),Victoria Bridgeman (CEO Bridgeman images) and Lucy Baxter (Commercial Director – CultureLabel.com) selecting from a shortlist of 80 entries.
