A walk down the street from the beautiful Atlanta Botantical Garden to Atlanta's art district will lead you to the the High Museum of Art, the leading art museum in the southeastern United States. The museum's galleries are lined with a collection that spans from ancient and contempory African art to modern and contemporary art from around the world and so much more. The High is also distinguished as the first general museum in North America to have a full-time curator devoted to folk and self-taught art.
