7 steps to successfully work from home

1. Care for your hair: whatever your style, look after your appearance so that those video calls don't catch you off guard!

2. As elegant as you may feel, try to avoid wearing pyjamas all day. This will help reinforce the structure of your day and help you to focus during work periods and relax when the day is over.

3. Look after your workspace! Pay attention to the background of your webcam video. Make sure the space is clean and tidy!

4. Find just the right spot to work. You want to avoid distractions as much as possible, and be comfortable too - but not too comfortable!

5. Take a break from time to time. You can't pop to the office kitchen for a quick catch up over a coffee. Make sure your break your day into chunks, taking regular breathers!

6. Make yourself feel recharged and ready for the day each morning. You don't wear makeup for others - you do it for yourself!
