Lucian Freud (1922-2011) afforded Dawson unique access to his daily life, photographing the artist during his final years, giving us an intimate look into the painter's private persona. In addition to photographs of the painting process, Dawson captured personal moments of Freud’s life, including the application of shaving cream and cuddling Kate Moss in bed.
