PJ Crook, one of Bridgeman’s most popular artists and a Director of the Artists’ Collecting Society, has been awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours for services to art. The Culture Show on BBC2 on 16th June at 7pm and 11.20pm was a special on the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The programme made two visits to P.J.'s studio to film and interview her as she has two pictures in the Exhibition. The exhibition at Galerie Alain Blondel in Paris which runs until July 30th is going well and receiving much favourable press comment in French newspapers and magazines. PJ has just also been appointed a trustee of the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trust and is about to commence work on three life size horses for Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum. |
