Commissioned by Sigismondo de' Conti (presented by St Jerome with his lion) for the church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli, Rome but moved to the monastery of St. Anne in Foligno. Looted by Napoloen in 1799 but returned to Italy after the Battle of Waterloo.
